Goal Maal 3- Movie Review

One of the special thing of this movie is the special look that’s has been given to different characters .The shooting of Golmaal 3 has been started from 20 march 2010. Now there are many hopes with this movie. It Is so soon to say something about its success or failure. But I hope I will be one of the block buster movie of the Bollywood.

Like Hollywood, Bollywood has also entered into the film sequels. A lot of sequels are coming up this year and in the coming year. Golmaal 3 is also a sequel of the film Golmaal which was released in 2006 and Golmaal Returns 2008. Golmaal 3 is an action-comedy movie like its previous movies. It is scheduled to release on November 5, 2010 on the occasion of Dilwali, just like every other film of its director. Golmaal 3 is also directed by Rohit Shetty and is produced by Dhillin Mehta.

The cast of this movie, with very little changes, is almost same as other movies of this sequel. Ajay Devegan and Kareena Kapoor are the lead roles and the other supporting cast is Arshad Warsi, Tusshar Kapoor, Anjana Sukhani and Shreyas Talpade. After the great success of Golmaal returns the director Rohit Shetty is very hopeful about this film.

About the plot of Golmaal 3, all we can guess is that this movie is going to be another comedy with some murders and mystery involved in it. The other movies of this sequel had the same story and we can say that all the Rohit Shetty movies involve mystery combined with hilarious comedy. This shows that these movies are a real entertainment.

The stars of this movie have also known to adopt some of the special looks for the sequel. Ajay Devegan, who has never changed his chocolaty hero “wannabe” look, has adopted the typical Tapori look for this movie of the sequel, which seriously is suiting him. Tusshar Kapoor is also adopting the tapori look but we have already seen Tusshar Kapoor in a tapori look in “Shoot out in Lokhandwala” so this would not be something new to us. It looks all so exciting and fun but alas! We have to wait for till November to enjoy this fun.

Hope for John Abraham, finally!

John Abraham and director Nagesh Kukunoor have reason to celebrate. Aashaayein that had been complete for over two years, will finally release on August 13. Produced by Percept Picture Company, the film ran into rough weather when Reliance Big Entertainment (RBE) reportedly backtracked on the price for the distribution rights, scared away by the serious subject. But now PPC and RBE are believed to have arrived at a deal.

Confirming the release plans, Shailendra Singh, Joint MD, PPC, says "The whole industry is rethinking on deals, so it is no big deal if Reliance wanted to renegotiate with us. John feels this is his best performance and after 8 x 10 Tasveer, Aashayein should silence all those who were doubting Nagesh's talent."

He thinks the film will mark the return of sensible cinema: "Mediocre content and the failure of big films like Kites and Raavan has hurt the confidence of the consumer. Aashayein could well surprise the audience in a pleasant way."

Interestingly, Aashayein will be competing with Aamir Khan's Peepli Live. But Singh isn't worried. "The number of screens and the size of the audience is big enough. The content is what's important," he argues. "The audience can always sense a good product and I'm sure there will be plenty of takers for both Peepli Live and Aashayein." The 25-day promotional campaign for Aashayein should kick off in a fortnight's time.

I Hate Luv Storys

The trend of Bollywood movies being made into mobile games started with the mother of all blockbuster films, Sholay, a few years ago. Punit Malhotra's I Hate Luv Storys' mobile game, which was launched on Wednesday, is the latest to join the bandwagon. But opinions about the concept vary.

Samir Bangara, chief operating officer of UTV Indiagames, says: "The game has been designed on four scenes in the film - when Imran (Khan) is making fun of Sonam (Kapoor), when he is trying to get Raj (Sonam's fiance in the film) drunk, the dance sequence and the action one."

However, companies who have spearheaded this business over the years feel that they walk a thin line, as not all Bollywood movies can be converted into mobile games.

Rajiv Hiranandani from mobile2win says, "I don't think any Bollywood movie can be made into a game. But the opportunity for it to return to the scene in a big way when 3G hits India stands tall. Movies like I Hate Luv Storys look great on screen, but they will appeal only to people who are interested in the movie. I don't think it will work for the average gamer."

Soon after Sholay, movies like Rang De Basanti, Sarkar, Ghajini, Quickgun Murugun and about 70-odd movie concepts were converted into mobile games over the last three years.

The games follow moments from the film and allow the gamer to make his decisions.

Alok Kejriwal, chief executive officer of Games2win, who was a part of the making of the Sholay game, clearly deems the Bollywood gaming industry a failed initiative. "These games are all a scam. We admit that the Sholay game was a huge flop.

School in Srilanka

Vivek Oberoi has just wrapped up a hectic schedule of Ram Gopal Varma's Hindi-Telugu bilingual, Rakta Charitra. And he is preparing to fly down to his school in Vrindavan that not only educates 1,500 girls from families below the poverty line, but even offers them free meals.

"We have also set up filteration plants in the villages so these children don't have to walk miles for a pot of undrinkable water," informs the actor, who hopes that the number of students will double by next year.

Oberoi, who was in Colombo for the IIFA gala earlier this month, is also building a school there for the children of ex-LTTE combatants. He saw 70-odd children, whose little village near the front line had been completely destroyed in the civil war, studying under a mango tree. And decided to give them a school.

The star has been actively canvassing for corporate support since and has managed to bring the UNICEF on board. "The school will stand for hope and peace, it will be a window to the future for these children," he says, adding that he hopes to have the first phase catering to 300-odd children, operational by the year-end. Eventually, the school will benefit around 1,000 students.

The actor was present at a mass wedding of Tamil rebels. Fifty-three couples were issued marriage certificates in the northern district of Vavuniya, where they are in military custody following the defeat of the Tamil Tiger separatist movement in May last year.

Oberoi was a witness for one of the couples, and says that for Viktalis and Rathi Devi, legalising their union after three years was a dream come true.

"The bride had tears in her eyes as she told me that earlier, combatants were not allowed to marry and peace was only a dream," informs Oberoi. When he asked her what was the first thing she'd do now, she blushed and blurted out, "Have babies."

New Delhi, June 16 (IANS) This could have been the Clash of the Titans with the presence of supposed rivals Shah Rukh Khan and Aamir Khan at the London premiere of Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai starrer "Raavan" Wednesday, if the latter had not missed the event for his mother.

While Shah Rukh got an invitation both from Abhishek and his megastar father Amitabh, Aamir was invited by the Big B himself.

"Amitji invited me for the premiere of 'Raavan' in London when I was there. But I had to come here for my mother's birthday on June 13 and go to Pune to be with her. However, I wish the movie gets success and all my best wishes to Abhishek and Aishwarya," said Aamir.

A bilingual, "Raavan" is releasing Friday worldwide. Makers of "Tere Bin Laden" receive threat letter

Walkwater Media, the makers of Bollywood spoof "Tere Bin Laden" have received an anonymous letter that threatens them with dire consequences if they release the film.

"The person who addressed the letter to us has got the theme of the film 'Tere Bin Laden' all wrong. It doesn’t deal with terrorism least of all support it. It’s a light comedy," said a source from the production house that remains unfazed by the threat.

The source also informed that the letter stated that the producers shouldn’t release the film since it was in support of Osama Bin Laden and terrorism.

A tongue-in-cheek comedy, the movie is about a reporter from Pakistan who is desperate to migrate to the US in pursuit of the American dream. His repeated attempts to migrate are shot down as his visa is always rejected. But when things couldn’t look worse, he comes across an Osama bin Laden look alike.

Directed by debutant Abhishek Sharma, it stars Ali Zafar.

My Hindi has improved after "Raavan": Vikram

Tamil superstar Vikram, who makes his Bollywood debut with Mani Ratnam's "Raavan", says he now speaks Hindi more fluently, thanks to the movie.

"This is one film where my Hindi has improved the maximum because I had an associate who would not speak to me in any other language other than Hindi. For one-and-a-half years, I have been speaking to him in broken, half-baked Hindi," Vikram told IANS.

Also starring Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai, the bilingual in Hindi and Tamil, is releasing Friday worldwide.

New Delhi, June 18 -- After Paa, AB Corp produced a Marathi film, Vihir, and is now juggling with four scripts. "Two of the films will be made in Marathi and one in Bengali. We've just received another good script and the director is open to making the film in any language. Regional cinema has some wonderful talent and we want to give them a good platform," informs Abhishek Bachchan.

The actor-turned-producer insists that for his company, production is not just a money making venture. "Obviously, we're not producing films for charity, but I want everyone to earn from it. At the same time, I want to make films that we believe in, even if it means gambling Rs 14 crore on an unconventional subject like Paa," asserts Bachchan.

Encouraged by the success of Paa, he is prepared to go with a bigger budget the next time around, provided the film deserves it.

So, what's the next big project? Bachchan says that three to four scripts have been locked and are being developed. "We'll see how they turn out, we're in no hurry," he says.

Mumbai, June 18 -- Salman Khan, who was in Colombo for the IIFA gala earlier this month, was reportedly bowled over by the picture postcard beauty of Sri Lanka. He convinced the producer and director of his forthcoming film, Ready, with Asin, to change the shoot location from the much-exploited Mauritius to the not-often-visited Sri Lanka.

The news reported by a Chennai daily has upset the South Indian Film Chamber of Commerce (SIFCC). "We will directly approach the people concerned rather than rely on information from our friends in the media. If they confirm the news, we will announce a non-cooperation motion against the film," says L Suresh, general secretary of SIFCC.

In May, L Suresh, along with C Kalyan, president of SIFCC, and G Siva, general secretary of the Film Employees Federation of South India, had air-dashed to Mumbai to persuade Manmohan Shetty, president of the Film and Television Producers Guild, members of IFFA's advisory board, including Ramesh Sippy and Yash Chopra, and organisers Wizcraft to host the event in a country more sympathetic to the Tamilian cause.

Told that it was too late to shift the venue, L Suresh had announced SIFCC's decision "that films featuring personalities who participated in the IIFA will not be screened in South India."

That would include forthcoming films like Raavan, Lamhaa, Milenge Milenge, Knock Out and Rakta Charitra. L Suresh however denies an "unofficial ban" against any of these films. "We'll only take action against someone who wants to shoot his film in Sri Lanka," says L Suresh. "We don't want to inconvenience producers, distributors and exhibitors.

Ranbir’s special song

The title track of Wake Up Sid, produced by Dharma Productions, has been a hit with the junta and is rocking the music charts.

Now, besides being in the movie, a special video with the same track has been shot for the audience. The video that’s being aired on television these days will definitely have the audience on the dance floor. We hear, director Ayan Mukherjee had to wait for a few months till Ranbir Kapoor shaved off the beard he had grown for another film.

The song choreographed by Bosco-Ceaser was shot over three nights. “But it’s not like a regular number. It has been shot keeping the theme of the movie in mind. It’s a slightly energetic version of the song in the movie. This song has Sid at his best at a party,” says Ayan. When the song was being shot, Ranbir had to stay in the pool for nearly three hours and he was irritated by the end of it. Few people know that the actor is scared of deep water, but he was a sport and didn’t complain till the song was finished. Producer Karan Johar who was very keen on this video loved it so much that he called Ranbir to congratulate him the moment he saw the track.

Soha, Emraan lip-lock in Tum Mile

Soha Ali Khan is a bold actress but when it comes to kiss Emraan Hashmi in ‘Tum Mile’, she was little hesitant. After the director convinced her, she finally agreed to kiss Emraan not once but twice.

Says director Kunal Deshmukh, "I told Soha at the outset that the script demanded one kiss which was to be in a song. Though she had agreed to it, when it came to the shoot, she had second thoughts."

The director explains Soha that since they are playing a live-in couple, the kiss is a must for the film. "In stead of having the camera all over them, I thought a liplock would say it all. Soha was extremely reluctant but she agreed later."

Soha also kissed Emraan during a song sequence. The director felt for one more kiss but later dropped the idea. The film has been produced by Vishesh films, ‘Tum Mile’ is set against Mumbai floods in July 2005 and it is expected to hit the theatre in November.

Dia Mirza turns down Karan Johar

Dia Mirza is in the film industry for more than nine years but still she could not firm her hold in Bollywood. It’s a lifetime opportunity for actors to work with filmmakers like Karan Johar but Dia Mirza kicked out the opportunity. Dharma Productions approached the actress for their next flick, ‘I Hate Love Stories’, but Dia turned down the offer.

She has just now completed shooting for Dharma Productions, ‘Kurbaan’ starring Saif Ali Khan, Kareena Kapoor and Vivek Oberoi and does not want to be a part of the cameo again. She was approached for the second cameo by debutante director Punit Malhotra for ‘I Hate Love Stories’ starring Sonam Kapoor, Imran Khan and Sammir Dattani’ in the lead. Dia at first accepted the role but later turned down through an official letter saying that she was busy with other assignments.

Dia’s replacement has not yet been found and the search is still on. She was finalized to play another heroine opposite Imran.

Salman to watch a friendly football match

Salman Khan will be in Kolkata for a friendly match between two top teams of the city – East Bengal and Mohun Bagan. It will be a part of the promotional event of his film, ‘Wanted’. For the first time Salman will be in Kolkata during Durga Puja. He is looking forward to the occasion with high spirits.

Producer Boney Kapoor confirms, "Salman will be in Kolkata on September 26 for a friendly soccer match to be played between Kolkata's top teams. It will be called The Wanted Cup and Salman will lead the teams on to the field and will work out with them."

Boney adds, "Salman has a huge fan following in West Bengal. Though he's been there for shootings, this is the first time that he's going to promote a film there. The whole team of Wanted, including Prabhudheva (the film's director) and the cast members, will also be there to cheer the teams."

The match will be held at the Rabindra Sarobar Stadium in Kolkata.

Farah Khan got into tears

Choreographer cum director Farah Khan moved into tears while judging a reality show, ‘Entertainment Ke Liye Aur Bhi Kuch Karega’, on looking at the superb kathak performance of Tejaswini and Sanjeevani Kalghatgi. They are two mentally challenged twins sister from Mumbai who runs a library for livelihood.

Before they showed their talent, their mother made a sincere request to the two judges and the audience of the studio to press the hooter-to stop the act if they did not like their performance instead of being just nice to them. But the performance of the twins suffering from Down syndrome was so mind-blowing that they won over the hearts of all and looking at their dance skill, dance queen Farah Khan moved into tears.

Farah requested their parents to enroll them in a good dance school so that they could learn more dance forms. Their mother revealed that dance boost up their confidence as well as they are improving gradually.

Farah and Anu Malik walked up to the girls and appreciated them. Impressed Farah promised to donate her books to the girl’s library.

NDTV sources are lying if they claim the Rakhi Sawant-Elesh Parjunwala wedding is still on.

Rakhi has categorically told a friend there’s no marriage, that the NDTV’s Swayamvar where Rakhi Sawant apparently chose herself a bridegroom has turned out to be the Great Indian Farce. It mocked not just the institution of marriage but also the viewers’ intelligence.

Interestingly, in spite of the first celebrity marriage on Swayamvar turning out to be such a hoax the channel is now going ahead with Season 2 of Swayamvar. This time it's Rahul Mahajan looking for a bride as viewers again get taken for a ride.

Says a wry filmmaker, "First Rakhi Sawant, now Rahul Mahajan will apparently have a string of intended spouses lining up to marry a man whose wife accused him of spousal abuse. Do these channels think viewers are idiots?"

Controversies and Rakhi Sawant seem to go hand in hand. In fact, Pati Patni Aur Who is being lambasted for using infants as props between couples.

Rising to her show’s defence Rakhi says, “The babies have been brought into the show with their parents’ consent. There was no pressure. And the babies were treated like royalty. I had no experience in baby care. I am neither a mother nor a nanny in real life. I had to tend to the baby given to me for 24 hours. I lost 10 kgs in the one month that I was shooting for Pati Patni Aur Woh. I came out of the show dehydrated and ill and had to be hospitalized.”

Rakhi’s parting shot, “After the experience, I’ve decided not to become a mother when I marry. But I’ll have to do reality shows. A single girl has to look after herself.”

Salman`s wanted Success

Salman Khan is in upbeat mood as his latest film ‘Wanted’ did exceptionally well at the box office. To enjoy the success, he had decided to throw a party where industries bigwigs will be invited. He is personally taking care of the menu and the venue. The party has been decided to throw at a Juhu nightspot.

Salman’s guest list includes Shahrukh Khan’s close buddies Farah Khan and Karan Johar. Well, Akshay Kumar and Sanjay Dutt will also be invited. Shahrukh Khan, the Bachchans and Vivek Oberoi are not in Salman’s guest list. Katrina Kaif will flew from Bhopal to be a part of the success bash.

Confirming the party, Boney said, "We haven't decided the venue as yet. We will invite those people who have been our support throughout." When asked if they were planning to invite the whole industry, he says, "It depends on the kind of venue we get. If it's a large venue, we will invite as many people as possible."

Speaking about the gross value of ‘Wanted’ at the box office, Boney says, "I don't discuss gross figures as they are confusing. Wanted is a superhit and the distributors in India should make more than Rs 40 crore after paying for theatres rentals and other overhead charges. While in India, Wanted is one of the three biggest hits in the last three years, in Pakistan, it's the biggest hit amongst all the Hindi films ever released there."

Asin admitted in Hospital due to Sinus

The ‘Ghajini’ actress Asin Thottumkal was admitted to Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital on Monday morning due to acute sinus condition. She was suffering from the problem for quite a long time but unable to visit a doctor due to tight schedule. Her condition got aggravated since she shot late nights for ‘London Dreams’.

She waited for the Eid when she will get a break from her work. However, her father Joseph Thottumkal confirmed Asin’s hospitalization. He said, "Yes she's in hospital. Nothing to worry about. All this is part of the process of my daughter's growing up." While rumor spread that she was admitted due to acute exhaustion as she was working round the clock.

"Asin was admitted to the Dhirubhai hospital... not for exhaustion but an acute sinus condition. She had been neglecting the condition for quite some time now. But now the sinus situation had to be attended to. But she was in great spirits, her usual chirpy and friendly self singing even as her treatment was being done," said a source close to Asin.

She is expected to be out of the hospital in a couple of days.

Saif surprised Kareena on her Birthday

Last year beau Saif Ali Khan missed out Kareena Kapoor’s birthday as she was shooting with Aamir Khan for ‘3 Idiots’ in Ladakh. This year too the plan was something of that sort but Aamir Khan’s last minute cancellation of shooting made the day for Bebo and her excitement doubled when Saiffu dear suddenly dropped in Rajasthan where she was doing a photo shoot.

Saif booked a suite in Udai Vilas Palace Hotel. On Saturday night, he surprised his darling further by flying in Kareena’s mom Babita, her best friend Reena and designer Shabina Khan.

Says a source close to the actress, "He had booked a suite and in true Saif style, he had it decorated it with candles, flowers and everything that she loves. Saif had recently taken her for a European holiday so Bebo wasn't expecting Saif to surprise her again, which he did!"

Salman topless on a TV Show

Salman Khan might have gone topless several times in his films but never on television. But three comedy genius, director David Dhawan, actor Riteish Deshmukh and Govinda forcibly made the actor go topless which was a treat for the studio audience. Shy Salman tried to hide himself but Govinda and David Dhawan did not let this happen and made him flaunt his six packs abs. All this and many more funs happened on ‘Dus Ka Dum’ when the three came to promote their latest film, ‘Do Knot Disturb’.

Apart from that funny incident, Ritiesh had done mimicry of Salman. This is a special two hours show where only fun and laughter prevails. The four had entertained the audience in these two hours to the outmost. They also shook their legs in an interesting number.

‘Do Knot Disturb’ is a laughter riot that speaks about an extramarital affair of an rich businessman. He bribes a waiter to become this girlfriend’s boyfriend and save his marriage.

Directed by David Dhawan, the film stars Govinda, Sushmita Sen, Lara Dutta, Riteish Deshmukh and Sohail Khan. The film is slated to release on 2nd October.

Rani have a low budget for IPL Team

Rani Mukherjee might be a cricket fan and she might have donned a cricketer and chanted Sachinpaji, Sachinpaji throughout her film, ‘Dil Bole Hadippa’ but the lady has no intention to own an IPL team as she cannot afford it.

"I can't afford it... I don't have so much money. There is no chance that I can buy an IPL team," Rani said.

"Right now I don't even think that I can take up so much responsibility because everything of that sort (owning a team, etc) means more responsibilities. I am quite happy doing what I am doing right now," she added.

IPL is a territory of Bollywood stars like Shahrukh Khan, Juhi Chawla, Preity Zinta, Shilpa Shetty and now interests Salman Khan, Ajay Devgan and Sanjay Dutt also.

Even her latest film, ‘Dil Bole Hadippa’ did an average business at the box office, Rani is not disheartened and looking forward to celebrate Durga Puja in Mumbai.

"I am just hoping I can have a great time with my family and celebrate Durga Puja as I used to celebrate it as a kid. This time luckily I have kept no commitments during that time; so I am just hoping that this year I'll have a blast," Rani said.
