The title track of Wake Up Sid, produced by Dharma Productions, has been a hit with the junta and is rocking the music charts.

Now, besides being in the movie, a special video with the same track has been shot for the audience. The video that’s being aired on television these days will definitely have the audience on the dance floor. We hear, director Ayan Mukherjee had to wait for a few months till Ranbir Kapoor shaved off the beard he had grown for another film.

The song choreographed by Bosco-Ceaser was shot over three nights. “But it’s not like a regular number. It has been shot keeping the theme of the movie in mind. It’s a slightly energetic version of the song in the movie. This song has Sid at his best at a party,” says Ayan. When the song was being shot, Ranbir had to stay in the pool for nearly three hours and he was irritated by the end of it. Few people know that the actor is scared of deep water, but he was a sport and didn’t complain till the song was finished. Producer Karan Johar who was very keen on this video loved it so much that he called Ranbir to congratulate him the moment he saw the track.


Soha, Emraan lip-lock in Tum Mile

Soha Ali Khan is a bold actress but when it comes to kiss Emraan Hashmi in ‘Tum Mile’, she was little hesitant. After the director convinced her, she finally agreed to kiss Emraan not once but twice.

Says director Kunal Deshmukh, "I told Soha at the outset that the script demanded one kiss which was to be in a song. Though she had agreed to it, when it came to the shoot, she had second thoughts."

The director explains Soha that since they are playing a live-in couple, the kiss is a must for the film. "In stead of having the camera all over them, I thought a liplock would say it all. Soha was extremely reluctant but she agreed later."

Soha also kissed Emraan during a song sequence. The director felt for one more kiss but later dropped the idea. The film has been produced by Vishesh films, ‘Tum Mile’ is set against Mumbai floods in July 2005 and it is expected to hit the theatre in November.


Dia Mirza turns down Karan Johar

Dia Mirza is in the film industry for more than nine years but still she could not firm her hold in Bollywood. It’s a lifetime opportunity for actors to work with filmmakers like Karan Johar but Dia Mirza kicked out the opportunity. Dharma Productions approached the actress for their next flick, ‘I Hate Love Stories’, but Dia turned down the offer.

She has just now completed shooting for Dharma Productions, ‘Kurbaan’ starring Saif Ali Khan, Kareena Kapoor and Vivek Oberoi and does not want to be a part of the cameo again. She was approached for the second cameo by debutante director Punit Malhotra for ‘I Hate Love Stories’ starring Sonam Kapoor, Imran Khan and Sammir Dattani’ in the lead. Dia at first accepted the role but later turned down through an official letter saying that she was busy with other assignments.

Dia’s replacement has not yet been found and the search is still on. She was finalized to play another heroine opposite Imran.


Deepika steals the show at LFW

Describing the line, Nainika said, “It’s essentially a classy line. There were a lot of short dresses, something we’ve never done before. The draping is bold and sculpted with a lot of floral texturisation. It’s essentially a vintage-inspired, ultra feminie collection.”


Salman to watch a friendly football match

Salman Khan will be in Kolkata for a friendly match between two top teams of the city – East Bengal and Mohun Bagan. It will be a part of the promotional event of his film, ‘Wanted’. For the first time Salman will be in Kolkata during Durga Puja. He is looking forward to the occasion with high spirits.

Producer Boney Kapoor confirms, "Salman will be in Kolkata on September 26 for a friendly soccer match to be played between Kolkata's top teams. It will be called The Wanted Cup and Salman will lead the teams on to the field and will work out with them."

Boney adds, "Salman has a huge fan following in West Bengal. Though he's been there for shootings, this is the first time that he's going to promote a film there. The whole team of Wanted, including Prabhudheva (the film's director) and the cast members, will also be there to cheer the teams."

The match will be held at the Rabindra Sarobar Stadium in Kolkata.


Farah Khan got into tears

Choreographer cum director Farah Khan moved into tears while judging a reality show, ‘Entertainment Ke Liye Aur Bhi Kuch Karega’, on looking at the superb kathak performance of Tejaswini and Sanjeevani Kalghatgi. They are two mentally challenged twins sister from Mumbai who runs a library for livelihood.

Before they showed their talent, their mother made a sincere request to the two judges and the audience of the studio to press the hooter-to stop the act if they did not like their performance instead of being just nice to them. But the performance of the twins suffering from Down syndrome was so mind-blowing that they won over the hearts of all and looking at their dance skill, dance queen Farah Khan moved into tears.

Farah requested their parents to enroll them in a good dance school so that they could learn more dance forms. Their mother revealed that dance boost up their confidence as well as they are improving gradually.

Farah and Anu Malik walked up to the girls and appreciated them. Impressed Farah promised to donate her books to the girl’s library.

NDTV sources are lying if they claim the Rakhi Sawant-Elesh Parjunwala wedding is still on.

Rakhi has categorically told a friend there’s no marriage, that the NDTV’s Swayamvar where Rakhi Sawant apparently chose herself a bridegroom has turned out to be the Great Indian Farce. It mocked not just the institution of marriage but also the viewers’ intelligence.

Interestingly, in spite of the first celebrity marriage on Swayamvar turning out to be such a hoax the channel is now going ahead with Season 2 of Swayamvar. This time it's Rahul Mahajan looking for a bride as viewers again get taken for a ride.

Says a wry filmmaker, "First Rakhi Sawant, now Rahul Mahajan will apparently have a string of intended spouses lining up to marry a man whose wife accused him of spousal abuse. Do these channels think viewers are idiots?"

Controversies and Rakhi Sawant seem to go hand in hand. In fact, Pati Patni Aur Who is being lambasted for using infants as props between couples.

Rising to her show’s defence Rakhi says, “The babies have been brought into the show with their parents’ consent. There was no pressure. And the babies were treated like royalty. I had no experience in baby care. I am neither a mother nor a nanny in real life. I had to tend to the baby given to me for 24 hours. I lost 10 kgs in the one month that I was shooting for Pati Patni Aur Woh. I came out of the show dehydrated and ill and had to be hospitalized.”

Rakhi’s parting shot, “After the experience, I’ve decided not to become a mother when I marry. But I’ll have to do reality shows. A single girl has to look after herself.”


Salman`s wanted Success

Salman Khan is in upbeat mood as his latest film ‘Wanted’ did exceptionally well at the box office. To enjoy the success, he had decided to throw a party where industries bigwigs will be invited. He is personally taking care of the menu and the venue. The party has been decided to throw at a Juhu nightspot.

Salman’s guest list includes Shahrukh Khan’s close buddies Farah Khan and Karan Johar. Well, Akshay Kumar and Sanjay Dutt will also be invited. Shahrukh Khan, the Bachchans and Vivek Oberoi are not in Salman’s guest list. Katrina Kaif will flew from Bhopal to be a part of the success bash.

Confirming the party, Boney said, "We haven't decided the venue as yet. We will invite those people who have been our support throughout." When asked if they were planning to invite the whole industry, he says, "It depends on the kind of venue we get. If it's a large venue, we will invite as many people as possible."

Speaking about the gross value of ‘Wanted’ at the box office, Boney says, "I don't discuss gross figures as they are confusing. Wanted is a superhit and the distributors in India should make more than Rs 40 crore after paying for theatres rentals and other overhead charges. While in India, Wanted is one of the three biggest hits in the last three years, in Pakistan, it's the biggest hit amongst all the Hindi films ever released there."


Asin admitted in Hospital due to Sinus

The ‘Ghajini’ actress Asin Thottumkal was admitted to Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital on Monday morning due to acute sinus condition. She was suffering from the problem for quite a long time but unable to visit a doctor due to tight schedule. Her condition got aggravated since she shot late nights for ‘London Dreams’.

She waited for the Eid when she will get a break from her work. However, her father Joseph Thottumkal confirmed Asin’s hospitalization. He said, "Yes she's in hospital. Nothing to worry about. All this is part of the process of my daughter's growing up." While rumor spread that she was admitted due to acute exhaustion as she was working round the clock.

"Asin was admitted to the Dhirubhai hospital... not for exhaustion but an acute sinus condition. She had been neglecting the condition for quite some time now. But now the sinus situation had to be attended to. But she was in great spirits, her usual chirpy and friendly self singing even as her treatment was being done," said a source close to Asin.

She is expected to be out of the hospital in a couple of days.


Saif surprised Kareena on her Birthday

Last year beau Saif Ali Khan missed out Kareena Kapoor’s birthday as she was shooting with Aamir Khan for ‘3 Idiots’ in Ladakh. This year too the plan was something of that sort but Aamir Khan’s last minute cancellation of shooting made the day for Bebo and her excitement doubled when Saiffu dear suddenly dropped in Rajasthan where she was doing a photo shoot.

Saif booked a suite in Udai Vilas Palace Hotel. On Saturday night, he surprised his darling further by flying in Kareena’s mom Babita, her best friend Reena and designer Shabina Khan.

Says a source close to the actress, "He had booked a suite and in true Saif style, he had it decorated it with candles, flowers and everything that she loves. Saif had recently taken her for a European holiday so Bebo wasn't expecting Saif to surprise her again, which he did!"


Salman topless on a TV Show

Salman Khan might have gone topless several times in his films but never on television. But three comedy genius, director David Dhawan, actor Riteish Deshmukh and Govinda forcibly made the actor go topless which was a treat for the studio audience. Shy Salman tried to hide himself but Govinda and David Dhawan did not let this happen and made him flaunt his six packs abs. All this and many more funs happened on ‘Dus Ka Dum’ when the three came to promote their latest film, ‘Do Knot Disturb’.

Apart from that funny incident, Ritiesh had done mimicry of Salman. This is a special two hours show where only fun and laughter prevails. The four had entertained the audience in these two hours to the outmost. They also shook their legs in an interesting number.

‘Do Knot Disturb’ is a laughter riot that speaks about an extramarital affair of an rich businessman. He bribes a waiter to become this girlfriend’s boyfriend and save his marriage.

Directed by David Dhawan, the film stars Govinda, Sushmita Sen, Lara Dutta, Riteish Deshmukh and Sohail Khan. The film is slated to release on 2nd October.


Rani have a low budget for IPL Team

Rani Mukherjee might be a cricket fan and she might have donned a cricketer and chanted Sachinpaji, Sachinpaji throughout her film, ‘Dil Bole Hadippa’ but the lady has no intention to own an IPL team as she cannot afford it.

"I can't afford it... I don't have so much money. There is no chance that I can buy an IPL team," Rani said.

"Right now I don't even think that I can take up so much responsibility because everything of that sort (owning a team, etc) means more responsibilities. I am quite happy doing what I am doing right now," she added.

IPL is a territory of Bollywood stars like Shahrukh Khan, Juhi Chawla, Preity Zinta, Shilpa Shetty and now interests Salman Khan, Ajay Devgan and Sanjay Dutt also.

Even her latest film, ‘Dil Bole Hadippa’ did an average business at the box office, Rani is not disheartened and looking forward to celebrate Durga Puja in Mumbai.

"I am just hoping I can have a great time with my family and celebrate Durga Puja as I used to celebrate it as a kid. This time luckily I have kept no commitments during that time; so I am just hoping that this year I'll have a blast," Rani said.


Aamir makes Kareena happy

When Aamir Khan came to know about Kareena Kapoor’s birthday, he decided to set her free to celebrate the day with her dear ones and made Kareena happy. Last year too, Bebo could not celebrate her birthday as she was busy shooting with Aamir Khan for the same film, ‘3 Idiots’ in Ladakh. Last year, Aamir brought a cake and let her cut it. Saif too drove to Ladakh and made the day special for girlfriend.

Says a source: "Aamir wants to complete the shooting of 3 Idiots on time so that the film can be released on December 25. But it suddenly struck him and Raju (Hirani, the director) that the last schedule fell on Kareena's birthday again. So, Aamir told Raju to postpone the shoot if need be, but let Kareena off to celebrate her birthday." Raju agreed and the shooting was cancelled.

When contacted, Raju Hirani said, "Yes, we have postponed the shoot. It will start now from September 25 instead of September 21."

It was a four days shoot of a song picturized on Aamir and Kareena and now the shooting has been pushed back.


Salman strips on demand

When was the last time you saw Salman Khan strip?

Not as in Wanted, his latest film that’s running to packed houses in seven out of ten Bollywood territories, where the macho star who plays a hit man displays his awesome eight-pack in the climax. But, say, on television... You haven’t in a while, right? Never mind, with Salman, it’s sometimes difficult to keep his shirt on. And even if the star wants to, as he has been struggling to do so for recently, there are others with mischievous bents of mind who will not let him... Like Bollywood cronies Govinda, Riteish Deshmukh and David Dhawan, whose film Do Knot Disturb releases on October 2. On television with Salman, with David giving the lead, the trio stripped Salman to the encouragement of applause from an admiring audience.

The shirtless wonder was ill at ease and quickly buttoned up, saying, “There should be a reason to remove my shirt.” The reason was quickly provided by the TV studio audience. They refused to let the Salman-Govinda-Ritiesh-David show proceed until Salman stripped off again. Bashfully, blushing and after some humming and hawing, Salman agreed. But then, he quickly got into the groove and, in his uber cool style, grooved to O O Jaane Jaana... while stripping off. But, no, it wasn’t a striptease.


Salman arranges a chopper for Bebo

Salman Khan cares about the ease and unease of his co-stars specially his female co-stars if she is working under his banner. He shows his caring side to Kareena Kapoor, his co-star of 'Main Aur Mrs Khanna’. Salman arranged a chopper for Bebo when he found that she was getting late for her next shoot.

"When anybody is a part of Sohail Khan Productions, Salman Khan takes full care of the actor. The artiste is under his wings. Kareena had to reach another important shoot that day but did not know what to do," said a source from the production unit.

"Salman instantly made arrangements for a chopper for her. It was thanks to his timely arrangement that Kareena could make it on time for the other shoot," the source added.

‘Main Aur Mrs Khanna’ is based on extramarital affair directed by Prem Soni. It is a joint venture of Sohail Khan Productions and UTV SpotBoy Pictures. The film is slated to release on October 16.


Ranbir afraids of Water Pool

Ranbir Kapoor wasn't too thrilled when his director Ayan Mukherji asked him to shoot a promotional music video for Wake up Sid. Not many know that Ranbir has a phobia of water and hates being around a pool or a large water body.

However, the video demanded that Ranbir, along with a bunch of youngsters, jump into a pool and complete the shoot in neck-deep water.

Talking about this, Ayan says, "Ranbir was scared of jumping into the water and he feels breathless when he's in the pool. But he's a great actor so nothing of that comes across on the screen. He's done a superb job in the video."

Shot a few days back, the video is based on the Wake Up Sid Club Mix which is an up tempo version of the title song.

Ayan adds, "We decided to use the track because everyone has been loving it. The song is full of energy and exudes the attitude that the film reflects. So we shot it in this bungalow with a bunch of young guys and girls and of course Ranbir who was in the center of it."

Did Ranbir crib and complain about not doing the video? "Well, he had no choice, but yes, he wasn't too eager to jump into that pool. We have a scene in the film where we see him jump into the pool, that point was the actual inspiration for this video."


Ranbir forgets Deepika

Deepika Padukone was in Twitter much before Ranbir joined but the 'Bachna Ae Haseeno' actor forget to mention his love Deepika Padukone’s name while listing the names of the B-Town celebrities from whom he is influenced with. He has mentioned names like Mallika Sherawat, Preity Zinta and Sonam Kapoor but forgot Deepika.

Ranbir is now keeping a touch with his fans by twittering. His love Deepika keeps a tab on Ranbir and follows him on Twitter.

Mallika Sherawat, Preity Zinta and Sonam Kapoor were on Ranbir’s mind but we wonder how he could forget Deepika’s name.

Sridevi turns translator for Salman and Prabhudeva

Sridevi found herself doubling up as a translator to Prabhudeva on Salman Khan's TV show 10 Ka Dum. Prabhudeva, was on the show promoting his directorial debut in Hindi a Wanted a remake of his Tamil film Pokhiri.

Ayesha Takia, the film's lead actress partnered Prabhu while Sridevi accompanied her husband and the film's producer, Boney Kapoor. While Sallu tried to explain stuff in a way his Wanted director would find simpler to follow, he turned to Sridevi for help in translating some things in detail in Tamil, a language both Sri and Prabhu are fluent in.

Says Prabhu, "Salman is a buddy and we have worked together before, but I have never done something like this before. I have watched the show. And what I really like is that Salman is exactly like himself on the show. There is no false attitude before the camera."


Who is next for Shahid Kapoor?

Shahid Kapur is strange with media’s totally indifferent attitude. He is surprised as this time media has not linked up with his ‘Dil Bole Hadippa’, co-star Rani Mukherjee as every time, he acts with any actress, he was linked up. From Amrita Rao, Vidya Balan to Priyanka Chopra, Shahid has been linked with all of them.

Shahid said that he and Rani shared a good on-screen chemistry and he and Rani both are wondering as why media have spared them. Jokingly, he quipped that he had to do something for that. Shahid said that he had a fun working with Rani as she is an extremely talented actress and a very good dancer. He is fortunate to work with the actress with whom he had acted in an ad film at the time when Rani was already a big star.

Shahid has many films lined up for release. ‘Chance De Dance’ with Genelia D'Souza and then ‘Paathshala’. He is currently shooting another Yash Raj film directed by Parmeet Sethi and then he will work on his father’s film.


Katrina Kaif fan commits suicide

Unable to meet his favourite actress Katrina Kaif in Bhopal a 24-year old man allegedly committed suicide.

The man named Motilal was part of a large group that had gathered at the location of the shooting for Prakash Jha's Rajneeti on September 5.

When he was denied permission to meet Katrina he jumped into a nearby lake and killed himself. No suicide note was found. But onlookers heard him shout Katrina's name while taking the fatal plunge.

When asked about the incident Katrina says, "I heard something like this happened. I am not sure of what it was. It's a police matter so I am not getting into it. I don't know why the man killed himself."

Adds Prakash Jha, "We did hear about this. We don't know what happened to the man. How can we be aware of what the onlookers are up to?

"However Jha met the senior cops in Bhopal and the matter has been sorted out. However Katrina who seems to have unwittingly provoked this suicidal adulation is none too pleased with fan zeal.

"I love attention. But only within limits. Besotted male fans is another are scary beyond a point, " shudders Katrina.


I am extremely fond of Lara, Riteish

Riteish Deshmukh is acting opposite Lara Dutta in ‘Do Knot Disturb’ and the actor is open about his personal and professional relationship he shares with his co-star Lara Dutta. He openly declares that he is extremely fond of Lara Dutta.

"My camaraderie with Lara is excellent and I am extremely fond of her. I have worked with her before; so I share a certain rapport with her," Riteish said. After'Bardaasht' and 'Masti', ‘Do Knot Disturb’ is his third film with the former Miss Universe.

"As colleagues it is important to have on-screen chemistry and when you are doing comedy it is important to have the right timing and everything. Both of us understand that.

"It`s great that there are times when we got a scene and we didn`t need to rehearse because I know exactly what Lara is going to do and she knows exactly what I`m going to do," added the actor who is also doing Sajid Khan`s `Housefull` with the actress.

Riteish Deshmukh who is a comedy genius is glad to work with Lara for the third time. Govinda and Sushmita Sen are playing another pair in the movie.


Karisma Kapoor to become mother again

Karisma Kapoor is going to have her second child. According to the latest report, Lolo is pregnant for the second time. Married to a Delhi based businessman Sanjay Kapur, she is already a mother of four yrs old Samaira. Younger sister Kareena Kapoor is over the moon on knowing that she is going to be aunty again.

Karisma was spotted with a baby bump at a suburban seven-star hotel in Bandra on Wednesday afternoon. She was last seen at Neetu Kapoor's mom's chautha and since then keeping away from any events.

According to a source, “She is now in her first trimester. This is the happiest phase in her life. Samaira is growing up, her marriage (which ran into troubled waters a few years back) is in a happy place now and she is also keeping herself busy with endorsements. Sanjay and she feel that it was a good time to have another baby."

Bebo is very close to her niece and she can’t wait for the moment when she would hold Karisma’s second baby in her arm.

However, Kareena confirmed the news but their father Randhir Kapoor is still unaware of the development.


Natasha Takia on Big Screen next Year

Ayesha Takia’s sister is also poised for a film career.

Says Ayesha, “ My sister Natasha who’s 21 will be in films next year. Hopefully she’ll be welcomed in the industry like other star sisters. I’m very excited for her. Let’s hope her career works.

She’s preparing herself, working out ferociously. When I started out I had no clue about these things. At least now when they know I’m her sister they’ll give her a chance. There’re so many beautiful girls in this country.

Maybe they’ll watch Natasha at least the first time because she’s my sister. But there’s the downside. They’ll start comparing us. Audiences are so unforgiving. They give you one chance, and then they let go.”

Ayesha would like Natasha to be received like Kareena who became a bigger star than her sister Karisma. Other star sisters like Kajol’s Tanisha and Shilpa’s Shamita were cold-shouldered by the audience.

Ayesha’s sister makes her debut early next year. Audiences will now get to see more of Natasha and less of Ayesha on screen.

“I’ve done it for so long. I’m now enjoying making my own rules. I’m having a ball concentrating on business ventures. My first boutique hotel in Goa is on. We were hoping to start it this season.”


I loves what I looks like - Neetu Chandra

Bollywood star Neetu Chandra says she has no desire to go size zero and believes in toning her body according to the need of the film she is working in.

"I don't believe in a zero-size figure. But I believe that the body should be toned in the right way, " Neetu told reporters, replying to repeated queries on whether she has put on weight. "On the contrary, I have shed some weight, " she added.

Neetu said her look in a particular film depends on the nature of the role. Citing examples, she said her look in "Garam Masala" was different from that in "Traffic Signal".

"I first try to understand the little nuances of my character. Then I dress up accordingly, " she said, describing herself as a casual dresser.

Neetu was the show-stopper for Soumitra Mandal's collection at the Kolkata Fashion Week-II Friday.

"I really like the look of the outfit I am wearing. Though I am a very casual of kind of person I carry myself according to the place I am going to, " Neetu said.

The actress has half a dozen films lined up for release this year and is presently shooting for a seventh in South Africa, for Anees Bazmee opposite Sanjay Dutt.

Mandal whose collection featured black and white western wear, said he used only natural fabrics.

"I used handloom, linen and silk and the prints were hand batik."


Priyanka Chopra wants more Security

Priyanka Chopra recently had a case of bad security when a fan girl walked past the guard right into her building, Raj Classic in Versova. The girl gave the guards some excuse and ran past them.

She clicked pictures of the door to Priyanka’s house. The guards, who are used to people coming to meet actors and actresses, then, realized that they had been tricked and rushed to catch her and get her out of the complex.

When Priyanka heard about this, she wasn’t very happy. She has also told the watchmen to stay alert.

Director David Dhawan just can't stop raving about beauty queen-turned-actress Lara Dutta for maintaining a weight of 58 kg since her debut in Bollywood with the 2003 movie "Andaaz".

The director is so impressed that he calls her "Miss Perfect 58".

"David calls Lara Perfect Miss 58 and is completely amazed how the actress has maintained 58 kilos for last six years. Lara has one of the best figures in the showbiz and is also an amazing actress, " said a source close to the unit.

Dhawan is extremely fond of Lara's acting and comic timing. He was so impressed by her work in his 2007 hit "Partner" that he decided to cast her again for his forthcoming film "Do Knot Disturb".

Bollywood actress Katrina Kaif, who has been shooting non-stop for her upcoming film "Rajneeti" with Ranbir Kapoor on the streets of Bhopal, says it is "disgusting" to see television channels create controversies and indulge in "match-mixing" to raise TRPs.

Earlier this week, a television channel went ballistic with an image showing her reaching out and hugging Ranbir Kapoor on a road. The clipping was aired with a question as to what her boyfriend actor Salman Khan would have to say on her public display of intimacy.

"Nothing. Why should he (Salman) have anything to say about a scene from a film? It's a scene we shot for 'Rajneeti' on a street of Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh capital). Obviously some camera outside our unit shot and decided to up the channel's TRPs with one more scandal story. But it is disgusting, " the defiant actress said.

She said it is a clear case of "match-mixing".

"People can easily see I'm dressed for the character in 'Rajneeti'. And am I so dumb as to indulge in a public display of affection with my co-star? Grant me more common sense, " she said.

"We're all busy with our commitments. And I'm also busy fighting off strange allegations, " sighs Katrina.

"First of all it's illegal to shoot people without their knowledge. And then how can they pass off a shot from a film as a paparazzi scoop?" she asked.


Shah Rukh Khan and Aamir in Danny Boyle's next?

Danny Boyle may be about to bring two of Bollywood’s biggest stars together in his upcoming movie, Bombay Velvet.

The Slumdog Millionaire director has signed on Aamir Khan and is now in talks with Shahrukh Khan to join the cast. The film will be directed by Anurag Kashyap and will be based on a series of real life incidents that happened in Bombay in the 1940s.

Boyle is in the advanced stage of discussion with SRK and if everything works out, the actor will be part of the film. The film has three leads– the second lead will be played by a newcomer and the third by Aamir Khan.

SRK is being finalized for the first lead. Boyle had tried working with King Khan even during Slumdog Millionaire, but the part eventually went to Anil Kapoor.


17 yr old Maradona falls for Bipasha Basu

Yes, it is true that 17 yr old Maradona Rebello falls for Bong bombshell Bipasha Basu not in real but in dream. Bipasha Basu is playing an imaginary lover of a 17 yr old guy Rebello in Sanjay Gupta’s ‘Pankh’. Bips has put a lot of hard work in the film and she is quite excited about her role.

She says that she has accepted to work opposite a newcomer for two reasons. Firstly, the film was directed by Sudipto Chattopadhyaya who is Bipasha Basu's next door neighbor in her hometown in Calcutta and secondly, for the challenging role, she has ever done.

The sexy actress is full of praises for the newcomer Maradona and said that he had done a good job. She is positive that people will appreciate her work.


Bipasha to play Abhishek’s wife

Now the sexy Bipasha Basu will be seen in a traditional avatar. She has been decided to play Mandodari, Ravan’s wife opposite Abhishek Bachchan in Mani Ratnam’s ‘Raavan’. Although Ravan has been married couple of times, Mandodari always remains his favorite. She always instructed him to follow the right path.

"Bipasha immediately said yes to the role. She had agreed to the role but Mani Ratnam had given her strict instructions not to reveal the details," a source said.

"Bipasha is believed to be extremely excited about her new role and her look in the film. She will join the unit of Raavana from mid-September," the source added.

Mani’s ‘Raavan’ is turning fruiter day by day with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan playing Sita, Vikram as Ram, Govinda as Hanuman, Abhishek Bachchan as Ravan and Bipasha Basu as Mandodari.

It is learnt that Mani at first approached Sushmita Sen for the role of Mandodari but when Sush refused he turned up to Bips and she readily accepted.

Its sounds strange isn’t but its true that now you can have a bite of the size zero actress and after a bite, you will find that she tastes cheesy and yummy. An international pizza chain has introduced a size zero pizza inspired by Kareena Kapoor and Bebo who is out of the country doesn’t even know that a pizza has been named after her. It was her Delhi based sister Karisma Kapoor who informed her about the new introduction of pizza.

Kareena Kapoor who is a great pizza fan thrilled to hear this. “I love Italian food,’’ says Bebo. “I must eat pizza at least twice a week; and yes, I’m flattered that a pizza has been named after me.’’ But, she added, “Honestly speaking, I’m no longer a size zero. I’m slightly rounded because I need to be that way for my role in Karan Johar’s Hindi version of Step Mom.”

Kareena added that she was so crazy about pizza that her mother once landed with a pizza to her shooting location where it was unavailable.
